The WestEdmonton Mall receives over 22 million visits annually. It opened in 1981 and has been expanded three times since. These are more than 23,500 employees who work there.
Some tourism specialists have dubbed it the “eighth wonder of the world”.

The West Edmonton Mall has aEdmonton Transit System (ETS), the public transport network of the city ofEdmonton. It is located south ofshopping center near gate 48. Coaches using this center enter and exit from 87e Avenue NW. It includes 13 bays each with their city destinations.
