- 1 Open-air museum of the Roman manor, Römerweg, 8185 Winkel. Tel.: 41 44 8602210. The Roman estate at Seeb is one of the few preserved Roman ruins in the Canton Zurich. The manor is believed to have been built as a timber structure around 30 AD; around 50 AD the first stone buildings were built. The complex went through numerous renovations and extensions and was probably around 350 AD. leave. The grounds of the manor are open to the public. Part of the manor house and the pottery kiln are in protective structures. A garden was created in the area with the plants that have been documented in our country for the Roman period.
