The once elegant place is located on Sandy Beach in the center of the tourist coast. There are only a number of simple hotels and guest houses. The main street, Highway 7, has banks, supermarkets and other shops on the north side. The white powder beach is only moderately visited. There are a few simple bars and hawkers, and locals offer boat tours. At low tide you can walk along the beach to St. Lawrence in 10 minutes.
The district of Rendezvous Gardens is 800 m north of the large road crossing.
About 1 km northeast of the village is one of the few wetlands that still exist here, Greame Hall Swamp. This important nature reserve is used for breeding various bird species and fish spawn there. From the road, a footpath leads about 500 m into the mangroves, from where you can watch the birds.

Worthing is 3.4 miles from downtown Bridgetown, between Rockley and St. Lawrence. The easiest way to get to this place is via Highway 7.
