Blue Pool is a natural freshwater pool near the beach. You can find this pool 9 km from Yamba at Angouri Point. Nobody knows how deep this water hole is and how it was created. The Family Fishing Festival is held in Yamba in May. One of the beaches is a "free beach", which means that you can also drop your last shell there. However, many holidaymakers do this anyway on the less visited beaches, whether allowed or not. From the hill on which the lighthouse stands, you have the best views of beaches and the Clarence River.
