Yonkers is the fourth largest city in the US state new York and quasi a northern suburb of New York City. The city is on the Hudson Line the regional railway company Metro North and is therefore well suited as an overnight location for travelers who like to stay Manhattan visit, but don't want to pay normal Manhattan room rates.
Yonkers also offers a variety of its own attractions that European tourists rarely get lost in, including the Untermyer Gardens and the Hudson River Museum.
