Zaghouan (زغوان) is a city of Northern tunisia and the capital of the governorate of the same name.

Established on the slope of Jebel Zaghouan, Zaghouan dominates a vast agricultural plain. 16,037 inhabitants populated it in 2004.
Known mainly for its temple of water and its aqueduct which in Roman times allowed water to be channeled to Carthage.
For lovers of outdoor sports, there are in Zaghouan many associations and enthusiasts who have equipped walls for climbing. There are also a few caves to visit and recently a zip line has also been installed on the mountains overlooking Zaghouan. Of course there is also the possibility of hiking in the region. The highest point is called the great peak of Zaghouan and culminates at 1 295 m.
