Zaghouan (زغوان) is a city of Northern tunisia and the capital of the governorate of the same name.

Understand

Established on the slope of Jebel Zaghouan, Zaghouan dominates a vast agricultural plain. 16,037 inhabitants populated it in 2004.

Known mainly for its temple of water and its aqueduct which in Roman times allowed water to be channeled to Carthage.
