Zile lies in the hinterland of the south coast of the Black Sea in the Turkey.

The city has been known as Zela since ancient times. 47 BC This place wrote world history when a Roman armed force under Caesar defeated the Pontic armed forces under King Pharnakes II in just four hours. He commented on this event with the simple words: Veni vidi vici ( I came, saw and conquered )

Tourist Attractions
- Roman column. Here the famous words of Caesar have been engraved. Unfortunately, this central attraction was stolen in 2004. The thieves are still being searched for.
- Roman theater. This can be found on the castle hill. Next to the theater there is a Roman grave complex.
- Ottoman baths. The Yeni Hamam and the Çifte Hamam date from the 16th and 17th centuries, respectively. A.D.
- Hasan Aga Madrasah. This madrasah dates from 1497.
- Boyacı Hasan Aga Mosque. This mosque dates from the same year as the medrese of the same name and is known for the elaborate prayer niche.
- Seyh Musa Fakih Door Besi. The details of the construction of the tomb vary widely and vary between AD 1100 and AD 1300.
