Grand Manan Island is located in the Grand Manan Archipelago on the border between bay of fundy and the Gulf of Maine in the extreme south of New Brunswick. The archipelago also includes theWhite Head Island. In fact, the parish of Grand Manan includes the entire archipelago and includes the village of Grand Manan and the local service district of White Head. It is part of Charlotte County. Grand Manan Island is the largest island of the Bay of Fundy Islands.

- 2 Coastal Transport Limited – Grand Manan is connected to Blacks Harbor on the mainland of New Brunswick by two ferries (ferries) operated by Coastal Transport Limited. Ferries follow different schedules depending on the time of year. They cross every day with the exception of December 25 and 1er January. It is in summer that the two ferries operate. the Grand Manan Adventure is the main vessel operating year round while the Grand Manan V operates during the summer season. The crossing lasts approximately 1 h 30 and it's free to get to the island, but you have to pay to come back. In addition, the William frankland is a ferry from Grand Manan Island to White Head Island. The crossing lasts approximately 30 mins and is free.
