Basque Country or Basque Country (Basque: Basque Country, Spanish Basque Country, French: Basque country ), or is the country of the Basques from a historical, cultural, linguistic point of view. It could also be translated as the Basque People, the group of people who inhabited this land for thousands of years. The Basque Country is one of the first gastronomic destinations in the world, with important food centers in San Sebastian, Hondarribia and Bilbao. It is also popular for its beaches and landscapes.
