THE Holly has a population of 454 inhabitants, according to the Greek census 2011.It is located at a distance of 19 Km from the city of Trikala. In Prinos there is a track for motocross races, which is an attraction for the friends of the sport. Until 1928 it was called Toskesi.
THE Precursor is located at an altitude of 300 meters and has a population of 472 inhabitants, according to the Greek census 2011. It is located in a location with many plane trees and water. The village was created by builders of Epirus, who settled in the current location of the settlement during the 16th century to work in the wider area. One kilometer south of the settlement are the ruins of an ancient castle. The old nunnery of Agios Ioannis and the "Tournos" (watermill) are still preserved. Near the village is the habitat of Baltista, a plane tree forest that hosts many species of animals and birds, including pheasants and partridges. In the forest there is the homonymous spring. Another source is Maidanos. The village crosses the stream of Kazanos.
