The Chisinau (Romanian: Chișinău pronunciation: [kiʃiˈnəw], Russian: Кишинёв), is the capital and largest city of Moldavian. It has 723,100 inhabitants.

Chisinau is home to four professional football teams: FC Zimbru Chisinau, FC Dacia Chişinău, FC Politehnica Chişinău and CS Steaua Chişinău, which play in the First National Division. FC Zimbru is competing in the newly built (inaugurated on May 20, 2006) Zimbro Stadium, with a capacity of 10,600 spectators, while the other teams are competing in the Stadionul Republica (capacity of 7,687 spectators) and the Stadionul Dinamo (2,692 seats).
