How to move
Namur is a big city and it is difficult to walk. Its road planning is difficult and knowledge of its individual points is required in order not to get lost. Cycling is not common on the roads, probably due to the paving that makes it difficult to balance well. Many one-way streets, however, allow the opposite course on bicycles, thus facilitating those who prefer cycling. Go to the castle by bike, because the road is long enough to go on foot. There are other bike paths. Ask for a map, and get started. On the way you will see signs that lead you to your destination.
For the brave, they rent canoes for the river. But be careful, because the water is icy, and if you do not know how to go back, you will go out to Netherlands, or even in the North Sea.
