The Sporades is a group of islands located northeast of it Of Evia and east of the prefecture of Magnesia. The main feature of the islands in the Sporades is the wonderful blue-green beaches and the rich vegetation mainly from pine forest that often reaches the shores.

Areas
- Skiathos, with an area of 48 sq.km. is the closest to the mainland and the most developed tourist island of the Sporades. It is 41 nautical miles away. miles from Volos and just 2.4 miles off the south coast Pelion. It has rich vegetation and more than 80 beaches.
- Skopelos, with an area of approximately 96 sq.km. It is full of dense forests that cover almost 80% of its area and is considered the greenest island in the Aegean. It has a good tourist infrastructure and retains to a greater extent its traditional character.
- Alonissos, with an area of 64.5 sq.km. is a quiet island with many natural beauties. The island hosts the first Marine Park of Greece and on its rocky shores there are caves that nest Mediterranean seals (Monk monks) and wild pigeons.
- Skyros, with an area of 210 sq. km. is the largest island of the Sporades. It is distinguished for its many natural beauties, as well as its traditional customs that date back to ancient times.

How to get there
Only the Skiathos has a civil airport. However, from Skiathos you can take the ferry to Reef and Alonissos
From Athena you can buy a combined bus / ferry ticket which will take you to the port of Agios Konstantinos, where you will board the ferry to the Sporades. Also, with your own vehicle, you can go to Agios Konstantinos and take the ship. Northern Greece it's worth it to go to Volos and from there take the ferry to the Sporades.
