- 1 Vitebsk(Віцебск) — the center of the region. The picturesque city, combining Poland, Russia and the traditional architecture of the old Soviet Union, is the hometown of Марк Шагал (Марк Шагал).

- 3 Lingtupe(Лынтупы) — has a beautiful Baroque Revival church and a beautiful manor.
- 4 Novopolotsk(Наваполацк) — An industrial town close to Polotsk. The city and Polotsk have mutual public transportation, and share a university, and even the intention to merge the two cities into one administrative district has been discussed for some time.
- 5 Orsha(Орша) — has a convenient railway junction, and there are some monasteries and churches to visit in the area.
- 6 Postavi(Паставы) — has an exquisite Gothic Revival church and an ancient Jewish cemetery.
- 7 Polotsk(Полацк) — An ancient Belarusian town with many ancient churches.
- 8 Shalkevshner(Шаркаўшчына) — a quiet town with several beautiful small churches.
