Malacca(Also translated as Malacca, Malay: Melaka, Jawi: ﻣﻼﻙ, English: Malacca, Portuguese: Malaca), referred to as Kazhou, is a state of Malaysia, in the southern part of the Malay Peninsula, bordering the Strait of Malacca, the capitalMalacca City, Known as the ancient city. The state of Malacca covers an area of 1,650 square kilometers and has a population of approximately 730,000.
It is recorded in the history of Ming Dynasty in ancient times as Mansaga, after being invaded by Portugal, it was renamed Malacca. According to the UNESCO World Heritage Conference held at 9:30 a.m. local time in Quebec, Canada (9:30 a.m. Malaysia time) on July 7, 2008, it was announced that Malacca was officially included in the World Heritage List.
