Longling CountyLocated in the western part of Yunnan Province, underBaoshan, Respectively, andShidian、Yongde、Zhenkang、Myanmar、Luxi、Liang He、Tengchong, Longyang borders each other. The total area is 2884 square kilometers. The county has jurisdiction over 3 towns, 6 townships, and 1 ethnic township. The county government is in Longshan Town.

The Nujiang fault zone in Longling is mostly earthquake and geothermal. It has a subtropical mountain plain monsoon climate with obvious three-dimensional climate. The annual precipitation is about 2,300 mm. It is known as the "Rain Screen in Western Yunnan".
