See

  • Vidova Gora is the highest point of the Adriatic Islands. It is accessible by car but also by a more or less long hiking trail depending on the chosen starting point. In the south of the island, it dominates Zlatni Rat and part of the island of Hvar.
  • Zlatni Rat, the beach of the Golden Horn. This beach protrudes from the island in the shape of a horn. It is a pebble beach, the water is very clear and the bottom goes down quite quickly; it is therefore suitable for the observation of fish in apnea. Although frequented in summer, there is space without crowding.

To go

Two ferry lines accessible to cars connect Brač to the mainland several times a day:

  • Split - Supetar (to the north)
  • Makarska - Sumartin (east)

Other lines lead to the island of Hvar but do not operate every day and do not carry cars.

Around

  • Sumartin is a charming harbor village which makes the wait pleasant. You cannot book the ferry ticket there: you park your car in a queue and in summer, you must expect to have to let one ferry pass and take the next one.
  • If the ferry timetables are suitable, the passage to Brač can be an opportunity for pedestrians to visit the neighboring island of Hvar.
