Malkang City is a county-level city under the jurisdiction of Aba Tibetan and Qiang Autonomous Prefecture in Sichuan Province. It is also the capital of Aba Prefecture. It means “a place where flames are prosperous” in Tibetan. The four Tusi territories of Mo were established in rudiments, so they are also called "four land areas".
