By plane
The only international airport in the region is the (IATA: ATR). From there, however, there is no regular service to Europe. Scheduled flights are therefore only available via the Atar International Airport(IATA: NKC) possible. Nouakchott-Oumtounsy Airport
By bus
The places of the region are accessible by both buses and minibuses Nouadhibou as well as over Nouakchott easily accessible.
By train
- Choum is on the railway line Nouadhibou - Zoérat and is a regular stop.
In the street
- The N1 connects Atar with Nouakchott.
