Andratx

Andratx is a municipality on the Spanish island Mallorca. The name is pronounced Andrash. The places belong to the community Andratx, Es Camp de Mar, Sant Elm, S’Arracó and the port Port d’Andratx. The community is only known in Germany because of its location at the port. Many Germans have their second residence here and when you say Andratx in Germany you almost always mean Port d’Andratx.

By bus

The public bus line 102 runs approximately every hour from Palma Peguera and Camp de Mar to Andratx and Port d ’Andratx. It takes 50 minutes to drive from Palma to Andratx and one hour to Port d’Andratx. There is also a connection to line 100 S’Arranco and Sant Elm (five times a day). Current timetables online

In the street

Of Palma de Mallorca follow the motorway MA-1 to the west and comes to Andratx or Port d’Andratx in about half an hour.

On foot

Port d’Andratx is the starting point of the GR 221 long-distance hiking trail ("Ruta de Pedra en Sec - route of the dry stone walls"), which runs over nine stages along the west coast and through the mountains of the Serra de Tramuntana to Pollença leads.
