The Australian company Qantas organizes flights to Antarctica and this service appears to have had some success.
By car
This mode of transport is almost non-existent in Antarctica. The car is used sparingly, reserved for some agents of certain scientific bases. Rudimentary tracks are traced within the scientific bases to connect all the buildings to each other.
Only two true roads are operating in Antarctica:
- Route 1: connects the US base of McMurdo to that of Scott, original base of New Zeland, its distance is about 3 km.
- South Pole Highway: connects over a distance of 1600 km. two stations of the United States McMurdo and Amundsten Scott. It is used only during the local summer season.

Safety
The conditions of Antarctica are inhospitable for life, so it is good to contact specialized agencies for these trips in order not to run into dangerous unexpected events. Furthermore, it will be necessary to purchase technical equipment, both electronic and personal, capable of withstanding the usual extreme temperatures of the place.
