North Pole is the northernmost point of the Earth.

There are many definitions of "North Pole", but the most famous is geographically, located at latitude 90°N (longitude not mentioned). Other than Antarctic, belonging to the continent Antarctic, the geographical position of the Arctic in the midst of the icebergs of the surface of the Arctic Ocean. There is nothing to mark the location because the ice drifts from year to year.

There are also North magnetic pole. A point that on is the table from only to. This position is drifting slowly, and is on the island of Ellef Ringnes (in Queen Elizabeth Islands in the state Nunavut, Canada), and at Qaanaaq, Greenland.

There is also a definition of Farthest North Pole, the northernmost point of all coasts. That location is at 84°03'N 174°51'T.

The North Pole can only be reached during expeditions with special purposes. Most go by plane, some have long expeditions. In addition, you can go sailing, breaking boats across the Arctic Ocean.

Visit

There's so much to see in the North Pole, watching sunsets, sunrises, photographing ice, snow, fishing, swimming or hiding on the ice.

Even though it's called a bear North Pole but rarely this species goes to the poles (they prefer to be on the surrounding islands, near the continents.

It's impossible to buy anything at the North Pole; you should bring everything necessary for the expedition

Sleep

Although there is no decent accommodation near the pole, you can set up a temporary tent for one or more nights. The Barneo Research Station has a heated shelter, which is often used by adventurers with trips of more than a day.

Eat

The team leader will bring all the food for you. Eating sturgeon caviar in the North Pole is a tradition.

To drink

The ice in the Arctic is formed from the sea water of the Arctic Ocean, so it is not drinkable even when thawed and filtered. Celebrating with champagne is a tradition, or vodka at -40° while standing on an ice cap is also quite popular.
