Tourist Attractions
- 1 Bathhouse, Koenigsteiner Strasse. Former spa building, built around 1870 in the old spa park. Around 40 bathing cabins were available for the spa operation. Brine and mineral water were available as medicinal products. Today the building is used as a city archive, a city museum, a library and a gallery.
- 2 Burgberg Tower. The tower was built in 1900, it is 10 m high. Its viewing platform is open on Sundays in summer.
- 3 Protestant church. A first church was built on this site in 1482 and completed in 1490. The church was badly damaged in a fire in 1522. The church also suffered damage during the Thirty Years' War. In the years 1715/16 a new church was built, it was renovated several times in the following period.
- 4 Medico Palace, Parkstrasse. Built in 1884 as an inhalatorium on the edge of the old spa park.
- 5 House Reiss, To the Quellenpark.
- 6 Paulinenschlösschen, Kronberger Strasse. on the edge of the old spa park, seat of the citizens' office.
- 7 St. Catherine, Salinenstrasse.
- 8 Water tower, Niederhofheimer Strasse. The tower was built in 1911, it is 21 m high and serves as a lookout tower.
