Beekbergen has a station on the tourist museum railway of the Veluwe Stoomtrein Maatschappij, VSM. The VSM has a very limited timetable. Intercity station Apeldoorn is about 5 km to the north and easily accessible by public bus. Also the train stations of Arnhem and animals have very frequent bus connections with Beekbergen.

Beekbergen has several regular (at least 1x per hour) direct bus services to Arnhem, Apeldoorn and Dieren.

The . runs through Beekbergen European walking route E11. This route runs from the Hague to the east, currently the border Poland/Lithuania. The route can be found at internet, comes from the forest of Hoenderloo and continues via the IJsselvallei via Klarenbeek between Voorst and Gietelo via the IJsseldijk to Wilp, at Deventer.
