Beliș-Fântânele Lake

BELIŞ is a small town located about 80 km west of Cluj-Napoca. It has a population of 517 inhabitants. The main tourist attraction is the lake of the same name, an accumulation lake that represents an opportunity both for tourists and for the inhabitants of the area. In the 1960s, the Beliș dam was built on the old hearth of Beliș village, and the houses were moved to the hill. In summer when the lake is dry, you can see the ruins of the village, especially the church.
