Beloeil is a municipality of Belgium located in Wallonia in the province of Hainaut.
Understand
The town is famous for its castle and its park, belonging to the Maison de Ligne, one of the most illustrious Belgian noble families. The current owner is Michel, 14th Prince de Ligne since the death of his father in August 2005. The domain of Beloeil is open to the public and hosts two important cultural events: the exhibition of amaryllis in the salons of the castle (in May ) and Les Musicales de Belœil in the park (in August).

(2013, the site of the whole domain) The Domaine de Beloeil has been the residence of the Princes of the Line since the 14th century. The park covers an area of 25 Ha and together with the castle forms one of the most beautiful areas in Belgium. Each of the lounges has period furniture, rich in its splendor and history, where many collector's items are on display. The French-style garden, a harmonious alternation of water and greenery, shade and light, is faithfully maintained in order to respect the original design, which dates from 1664.
