Bex is a Swiss City in the canton Vaud.

There is a salt mine and a thermal spring in Bex. The center is located on the eastern edge of the lower Rhone Valley, where the Avançon River flows into the Rhone Plain.

The Bex motorway exit of the A 9 is around 2 kilometers outside the center and consists of two separate half-connections.
By train
A Geneva-Lausanne-Brig express train stops every hour at Bex station. There is a connection to the narrow-gauge Chemin de fer Bex-Villars-Bretaye which leads right through the center to Villars-sur-Ollon.
