Bir el-Gebel (Arabic:بئر الجبل, Biʾr al-Ǧabal, „the mountain well“) Is a well in the north of the egyptian Sink ed-Dāchla north of the village of el-Gīza and west of Qaṣr ed-Dāchla (el-Qaṣr).
getting there
Of Courage coming can be reached along the trunk road to el-Farāfra the village of el-Gīza. In the north of the village 1 branches(25 ° 42 ′ 0 ″ N.28 ° 54 '42 "E) take a road near the Badawiya Hotel to the north, which leads to the source of Biʾr el-Gebel after about 5 kilometers.

Tourist Attractions
On the drive to the former spring you can see fields and gardens, especially on the west side. The old, warm spring, probably the northernmost spring of the ed-Dāchla depression, was considered one of the most beautiful springs, has now dried up and was located west of the Bier El Gabal Camp behind the trees. The place is still scenic at the foot of the limestone massif.
The new well in the north of the camp belongs to the camp and is not public. There is also a source for locals some distance away.
