Borjdomi (ბორჯომი bohr-djoh-mi) is a city of Samtskhe-Javakheti.
Understand
Bordjomi is a town in the center of the Georgia as well as the name of a nature reserve and a famous volcanic salt mineral water. The source of this mineral water is in the Bordjomi gorges.
To go
There are train connections for Tbilisi and passing by Gori and Mtskheta.There are marchroutki (collective taxis) for Tbilisi and for Batumi (18 GEL).
Circulate
The tourist train [1] for the ski resort of Bakuriani (1 or 2 gel, 30 km) which leaves from station 2 is pleasant for visiting the city. The trip lasts 2 h .

- The city park (Stretched along the Bordjomula River) – The source of Bordjomi mineral water is located in the city park. The first part of the park contains attractions and cafes, the furthest part of the park is great for a stroll. Near the entrance, a cable car takes you up to the plateau.

- 1 Bordjomi-Kharagaouli National Park (ბორჯომ-ხარაგაულის ეროვნული პარკი) Administration: Rue Meskheti, 23 (west of town) – It is the largest national park in Georgia. Go through the park administration office to obtain free access authorization and a map of the region with paths and refuges. If you want to hike in the national park, take sufficient amounts of water and camping gear as the huts are very basic. It is also possible to take a day hike from Bordjomi to Kvabiskhevi (or vice versa) and hitchhike, take a local bus or a taxi back to Bordjomi. There are other possibilities for day hikes. These hikes can take you to the higher parts of the region (up to 2,600 meters).

To buy
Near the entrance to the city park, locals sell homemade jams made from pine cones. This jam is claimed to help cure upper respiratory tract infections and improve immunity.

- Taverna (near the entrance to the main bridge (Silamazis Khidi) and the small park (Patara parki)) – The restaurant offers a wide choice of traditional Georgian dishes. Taverna is famous for its mushroom dishes.
