Bremer Bay is a remote place on the south coast of Western Australia at the mouth of the Bremer River on the western edge of the Fitzgerald River National Park. Administratively it belongs to the Shire of Jerramungup, the next larger city is about 180 km away Albany. The place is a popular holiday destination for caravan drivers but also for nature lovers and Whale watching, in the main season the population can grow to over 6,000 people.

By plane
The small 1 Bremer Bay Airport is about 6.5 km outside the village. The gravel road (1200 m) is used for business and private traffic, there are no scheduled connections. The nearest airport with scheduled connections to Perth is in Albany.

From Highway 1 there is an approximately 60 km long road to Bremer Bay, you can only refuel in Bremer Bay. The nearest city is on Highway 1 Albany (180 km in a south-westerly direction), as well as the seat of the district in the equally small Jerramungup approx. 95 km in a north-westerly direction.

- 1 Bremer Bay Golf Club, 142 Frantom Way. Partly in the forest, partly near the beach in the dunes, 18-hole golf course (par 72).

The remote place has a basic infrastructure, the most important shop is that General Store in the 1 Mary Street with a supermarket, bottle shop and attached gas station. Just a few meters further in the 7 Mary Street find the Bremer Bay Pharmacy as well as the post office. The small hardware store and fishing tackle shop Bremer Bay Rural & Hardware can be found in the 144 Wellstead Road.The Bremer Bay Roadhouse in 5 Gnornbup Terrace is the second petrol station in Bremer Bay with a small shop and an attached café.
