The Eyre Highway connects Pt. Augusta in South Australia with Norseman, from where it branches off.

The state railway company Transwa operates, as well South West Coach Lines Long-distance buses. The remote north coast also serves Greyhound.

Tourist Attractions

“The Wave” a rock formation in the form of a wave is certainly one of the impressive sights. The Kimberleys in the northern part are no less attractive. Wine drinkers will be magically drawn to the Margaret River, animal lovers and divers will take the opportunity to swim with dolphins in Monkey Mia or hope to encounter a "gentle giant" - the whale shark - in Shark Bay. Snorkeling with whale sharks can be found in Exmouth, there are many dive shops that offer these tours (quite expensive, around 300 AUS $, but worth every penny!). Learning to dive or going is also worthwhile! The Reef Ningaloo is a real insider tip for diving.
