Brondby is a Danish City in Zealand.

background

Brøndby is part of the Copenhagen agglomeration. National awareness, even international, aroused the community through the association Brøndby IF. The club is best known for its soccer team. This currently plays in the first Danish league.

At the time of the Middle Ages, Brøndby still consisted of the two villages Brøndbyøster and Brøndbyvester with two churches. Brøndby Nord was built in the 20th century with multi-storey buildings. These are provided with large paintings on the gable walls. Brøndby Strand was added later. There is a carillon in a church built in Brøndby Strand in 1984. Carillon concerts are held every year.

Today Brøndby is also a useful location for industry. In particular, companies from the IT, transport and electronics sectors have settled in Brøndby.

Practical advice

In Denmark the rule of thumb is: you don't speak Danish, you can also get ahead with other languages. This is also the case in Brøndby. You will definitely get along with English, as almost every Dane can speak this language. You may also get on with German in Brøndby.
