The Bucovina (Romanian Bucovina, Ukrainian Буковина / Bukowyna) is a historical and cultural region at the transition from Eastern Central Europe to Eastern and Southeastern Europe. According to today's political boundaries, it is partly in Romania, partly in the Ukraine. For practical reasons, it is therefore covered in two travel guides:
- Bukovina (Romania) for the Romanian part
- Chernivtsi Oblast for the Ukrainian part with the historical capital Chernivtsi
