Around Hadera, where today various industrial companies are located, various citrus fruits are grown today. The most striking (if not the most beautiful) structure in the area is the large power station right on the coast near Caesarea. The high chimneys can still be seen from many kilometers away (as well as the jetty for the unloading of ocean-going ships, which protrudes far into the sea) and are important landmarks.
