Then take the second street on the left after the cemetery. Two kilometers further, just after the forest house located in the heart of the forest of Tannières, the path ceases to be paved. The site is located in the undergrowth on the left 350m further.) – Three buildings (a priori two temples and a dwelling) were discovered during excavations carried out in 1919 and 1971. The inscription discovered seems to indicate that it is a sanctuary to the god Mercury, which dates from the end of the 1st century.
  • 2 Ruins of Château-sur-Perle (From the village, take the direction of Rambervillers. After passing under the road bridge, turn right onto a dirt track a few meters after the Val de Voitimont subdivision. This path crosses a meadow, at the bottom of which it branches off to the right. From the edge of the forest, climb up to the top of the nipple on the right.) – Château-sur-Perle was a stately home, taking its name from the pearls extracted from pearl mussels fished in the Vologne, the river that waters Cheniménil. Its construction was, in 1473, authorized at the top of the hill of Paroy, north of the village, by Duke René II of Lorraine to Gérard de Haraucourt, seneschal of Lorraine. The guide Joanne (1883) indicates that this castle once contained a chapel called Our Lady of the Snow, the goal of a very frequented pilgrimage, and that at the end of the 19th century, although the chapel had disappeared, the pilgrimage was still taking place. Today, only the remains of a well, a troglodyte cellar and a retaining wall against the hill remain.
  • 3 Church of St. John the Baptist 11, Grand'Rue – The parish church, built in 1860 and badly damaged during the war, was restored in 1945, with a substantial modification of the architecture of its bell tower. The church organ was built by Jacquot-Lavergne in 1956.
