getting there

Due to its location on the Panamericana, the province is easy to reach from the west of Costa Rica (border crossing Paso Canoa), from the east of Panama City. From the Caribbean coast (Changuinola) a road leads over the mountains to Chiriquí. There are many buses to and from David on all of these roads.

Several flights a day connect Panama City and David.
