Sudanese Chad is one of the most populated and hospitable regions of Chad.

To know

The wetland of Sudanese Chad includes the southern prefectures of Mayo-Kebbi, Tandjilé, Logone Occidental, Eastern Logone, Moyen-Chari, and southern Salamat.

When to go

Between April and October there is the rainy season, while temperatures are high all year round. TO Moundou, the main city in the southwest, temperatures range from 27 ° C from the mid-cold season in January, to around 40 ° C in the warmer months of March, April and May.

Growth here is lush during the rainy season but turns brown and dormant during the dry season which runs from November to March. Over much of the region, however, natural vegetation has given way to agriculture.
