The Col du Pillon connects the localities Gstaad resp. Gsteig in the Bernese Oberland with the winter sports resort Les Diablerets in the valley Les Ormonts in the canton Vaud.
Route
From the famous Bernese Oberland holiday resort Gstaad leads the main street 142 first along the upper reaches of the Saane river to Gsteig, the actual eastern base of the pass crossing. The road follows the course of the valley and reaches the canton and here also the language border before the pass.
The top of the Col du Pillon pass lies in the canton of Vaud. From here the cable car, built in 1964, leads in two sections to the Sex blush and to the ski area Glacier 3000, the winter sports destination Les Diablerets belongs.
After the transition to a flat valley floor, the route leads along the Dar river and in a few hairpin bends Les Diablerets down. The route continues to Aigle in the Rhone Valley and Montreux on Lake Geneva.
In the northeast is merely Gstaad Connected to the railway network, in the southwest there is from Les Diablerets a meter-gauge railway connection opened in 1913 by TPC (Transports Publics du Chablais) above Aigle to Montreux.

- Trip to 1 Lac Retaud; from here you can use the Col de Voré continue to Arnesee to be hiked.
