Andes mountains - Cordillera de los Andes

The Andes mountains It is the main mountain range that runs through most of western South America, traveling through 7 countries throughout its trajectory these are Argentina, chili, Bolivia, Peru, Ecuador, Colombia and part of Venezuela, serving as the land border between Chile and Argentina, (being in the latter, the highest point of the mountain range, the Aconcagua hill), entering Bolivia and Peru from the south, at that point it is called the Altiplano, after forming its Widest part, it leaves Peru from the north being thinner entering towards Ecuador, entering through the south of Colombia to be divided into three branches that cross the country, being the Western, central and eastern mountain ranges. The latter continues its course towards the northeast of the country to enter Venezuela and form the Mérida mountain range as an Andean branch in that country.
