Corse-du-Sud was a department in the French region Corsica. Its serial number was 2A. The area is located in the southwestern part of the island and has only the former department as its northern neighbor Upper Corsica.

- Near the small village of Filitosa is an area with prehistoric stone monuments. The special thing about it: Menhirs that were created by different cultures stand in the same place. There is nothing like that on the island.
