- Assilah - Just about fifty kilometers south of Tangier, Assilah is a seaside resort on the Atlantic coast, very popular in summer especially by Spanish tourists. The medina of the fifteenth century has been beautifully restored to perfection.
- Casablanca - the largest and most modern city in the country. Its historic medina and its contemporary mosque (the third largest in the world) are worth a half-day visit.
- Kenitra
- Larache - Ancient Lixus.
- Mehdia - Fishing center on the Sebou estuary. In its vicinity are the nature reserve of Sidi Boughabai lake and or archaeological sites of Banasa is Thamusida.
- Mohammédia - Oil port.
- Port Lixus - Seaside resort with a complex of hotels and villas set up by the companies Thomas & Piron and Colbert Orc, both of the Belgium.
- Rabat - Capital of the country and a quiet city which includes a tower and a 12th century minaret.
