The Coves del Drac (German: Drachenhöhlen) are a large, contiguous stalactite cave system with several underground lakes in the vicinity Porto Cristo in the east of Mallorca. It is the best known and most touristically frequented cave system on the island.

description

Most of the caves are open to tourists. Since the Dragon Caves are one of the main attractions on the island, they are very crowded. On the somewhat longer path to a cave equipped as a concert hall, you can get there without any guidance. There is also an underground lake here. Musicians who perform classical music are taken to the lake on boats.

After the demonstration is over, you can get lucky and put your feet in one of the boats so that you will be driven a few meters on the lake.

The tour of the cave, including the music performance and boat trip, takes an ample hour.

Information is only available from the flyer that was handed out. If you would like to find out something about the caves and their history, you can buy literature about the caves at the entrance and exit.
