Ceret is a municipality and a sub-prefecture of Eastern Pyrenees in France.

Understand

Céret is a small town of 7,600 inhabitants marking the entrance to Vallespir, the foothills of the Pyrenees and the southernmost valley in mainland France. It is also a sub-prefecture of the Pyrénées-Orientales. The town borders Spain with the Massif des Salines.
