De Cocksdorp is a place on the Wadden Island Texel, in the far north of the province North Holland. The village has approximately 1,260 inhabitants. The village is named after Nicolas Joseph de Cock, a Fleming from Antwerp.

De Cocksdorp is served by bus line 29 of Connexxion. This usually departs every hour from the ferry port of Texel. The bus leaves Den Helder almost after the arrival of the boat. In De Cocksdorp the bus drives in a circle so that the bus not only comes to the center, but also along the beach and close to the lighthouse that is a little further away.
