Churches

The most famous landmark of Dietkirchen is the former collegiate, now parish, St. Lubentius and Juliana. The bones of St. Lubentius are kept as relics in the sacred building. It was built in honor of St. Lubentius, who is the patron saint of the Lahn boatmen. It is enthroned on the limestone cliffs in Dietkirchen and its beginnings were as a wooden chapel in 580. The current building comes from the dimensions that were made between the 8th and 13th centuries.

The church is only 39 meters long and has two striking towers on the west side.

The church played an important role in the Christianization of the Lahngau.
