Characteristic
Drive
By bus
Buses run, among others, to Jerusalem and Tel Aviv. The connection search engine is available on this side.
By plane
There is an airport serving domestic connections. The second airport - Eilat Ovda serves low-cost airlines. Wizzair and Ryanair carries out connections from Eilat to Gdańsk, Kraków, Poznań and Warsaw, among others.
Via Szarm el-Sheikh / Taba
An alternative option is to fly to Sharm el-Sheikh in Egypt (mainly charter planes fly there) or Taba - from Sharm el-Sheikh to Eilat is nearly 300 km (an option currently not recommended due to the unsafe situation in Egypt) or to Taba (only the Egyptian-Israeli border separates the towns). When choosing this option, you should take into account the often very long waiting time at the border (approx. 3 hours) and detailed border control.
By train
By car
Eilat is an important road junction - you can get there from the Egyptian Tabs, Jordanian Aqaba, or from the north - with Beer Szewywhich is the main road junction of central Israel (road no. 90).

Communication
Worth seeing
Eilat is a young city, there aren't many interesting places in it. However, the area is very interesting. See you there: the Underwater Oceanarium, a great coral reef (free or paid), the Red Canyon and the Negev Desert. Full list of interesting places in and around Eilat: Eilat - travel guide and photos.
