Although the beach is in a nature reserve, there was a huge ruin here. In fact, an attempt had been made to build a large holiday complex here. A large number of those responsible were arrested at the time. Bribes were paid to get building permits. For a long time there was no money for the demolition. But today the illegally erected buildings have been completely dismantled. Unfortunately, this is not an isolated case in Mallorca. Such ruins can be found in many tourist places.
In the meantime, a clear decline in the dunes has also been noted. This is obviously due to the steadily increasing use of the beach. Here, too, gentler use would be required, but this creates difficulties.
