The airport Aswan International (English: Aswan International Airport, Arabic:مطار أسوان الدولي, Maṭār Aswān ad-Daulī), sometimes imprecise Darau Airport called, is 16 kilometers southwest of the egyptian city Aswan west of the Nile.

The airport, which opened in 1960, mainly serves Egyptian airlines and some foreign charter airlines. In 2009 around 865,000 passengers were handled. The airport has a runway that is 3,400 meters long.

Between the airport and Aswan, there are mainly taxis and buses run by tour operators. There are no public bus routes to the airport. A taxi to Aswan train station costs around LE 130–200 (as of 2019), depending on your negotiating skills. The price should be negotiated in advance.
