Easy hikes to bushwalks:
- Freycinet Peninsula Circuit (3 days 2 nights):
Starting from the visitor parking lot at the end of the street, the path runs along the east coast of the peninsula (Hazard Beach) to the campsite at Cooks Hut on the first day. On the second day, the path leads inland, over Mt. Graham (around 650 meters in altitude) to the campsite in the Wineglass Bay. Before the summit of Mt. Graham, an unmarked path branches off onto Mt. Freycinet. The last day leads along Wineglass Bay over the pass between Mt. Mayson and Mt. Amos, past the Wineglass Bay Lookout back to the car park.

In the case of hikes lasting several days, you should inquire about the drinking water situation at the Visitor Center. After long periods of drought, there may be supply bottlenecks.
In addition to wallabies and various species of birds, the park also offers poisonous snakes (e.g. tiger otters) a retreat. You should therefore pay attention to where you step. Basically, however, snakes retreat as soon as people pass, so that you can hardly see them.
