Güzelçamlı is a traditional provincial town in the Aegean region the Turkey about 25 km south of Kuşadasıwhich is right across from the Greek island Samos and is particularly known as a seaside resort in Turkey. In addition, the place is right at the entrance of the Dilek National Park and is often used as a base for excursions in these. There are great opportunities for nature experiences with walks in the beautiful landscape and boat trips between Turkey and Samos.

Güzelçamlı is 22 km from Kuşadası, 35 km from Efes antique, 37 km from Selçuk, 40 km from Meryem Ana, 50 km from Şirince, 90 km from İzmir Airport, 60 km from Didim, 75 km from Bafa Gölü and 120 km from Bodrum away.
By plane
The closest airport is in Selçuk. However, this can only be approached with private aircraft. If you want to fall back on an airline, you will find in Izmir the nearest airport.

In the street
If you come directly from Kuşadası, take the D515 in the direction of Söke. In Soğucak, turn right towards Davutlar and Güzelçamlı and you will reach Güzelçamlı after 5 km.
From Aydin (to the east) or Izmir in the north take the Autobahn 31 to the Söke exit. About 20 km later you reach Söke and at the roundabout in front of the city take the first exit on the right in the direction of Davutlar. So you drive around the town of Söke and reach the town of Davutlar via a winding road; Güzelçamlı and the Dilek National Park (approx. 15 km away) are signposted from here. Beware, the road between Söke and Davutlar is tarred, but has some rough potholes (as of 2012).

- Dilek National Park
Most of Güzelçamlı's attractions can be found here. Everything revolves around Mount Samsundağ, which is located on a peninsula. On and around it, an area of more than 1000 km² is protected as a national park. The fauna and flora are among the most diverse in all of Turkey. This is also where four of the city's five beaches can be found.

- Swimming. There are five beaches in and around the place. The 5 km long beach in the village is a well-kept sandy beach, but it can be overcrowded in the main season. The other four beaches are smaller and partly pebble beaches. But due to their location in the Dilek National Park, these are also much emptier. In addition, these naturally offer a much more beautiful panorama. All beaches in the national park can be reached via the main access road :.
- Içmeler. This beach is located one kilometer behind the main entrance and is a fine sandy beach.
- Aydınlık. This pebble beach is five kilometers within the national park and also has a small restaurant in the high season.
- Kayaklıburun. Located about seven kilometers behind the entrance to the national park.
- Karasu. Can be found after about 11 kilometers.
These beaches are particularly famous for visits by wild boars who have got used to tourists and are hoping for a treat. But be careful here as it is still wildlife.
- hike. The classic is the crossing of the park from north to south or vice versa. From the access road, the hiking trail in the north of the national park leads up the mountain on the left about 6 km after the entrance. The whole thing is signposted with Canyon. At the entrance there are some information boards about the flora and fauna. The first part of the path leads through a canyon and is also worth a relaxing, shady walk for non-athletes. At the end of the canyon, the path then slowly winds up the slope. In doing so, bright spots are reached again and again, which allow a splendid view. At an altitude of approx. 1000 meters you have reached the highest point and now head south towards the valley. The path partly follows a stream bed. If it has just rained, wet feet are often inevitable. The signposting in the northern part is exemplary but rather superfluous because you can't get lost here. In the southern part the signage is incomplete or missing completely and would be helpful here. The destination is the small village of Doğanbey, from here you take the dolmuş via Söke back to Güzelçamlı. Before doing this, you should inquire about the connections on site. The hike can of course also be undertaken from south to north. You should plan at least half a day for the hike and stock up on plenty of food and water, because you won't find a kiosk on the way, but there is plenty of nature and with a little luck to see the last free wild horses.
